It is time for the 2024 #8weeksofsummer Blog Challenge! Last summer we acknowledged that time and technology stand still for no one. We started to explore large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT. This summer we build upon last year’s #8weeksofsummer blog challenge to encourage bloggers and readers of blogs to explore what we know, want to know, and need to know about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.
Last summer, this #8WeeksOfSummer blog challenge started our exploration of AI. The blog challenge prompts from last year centered around your concerns, current knowledge, plagiarism, and anticipating how schools/districts may manage these tools. After one year of considering, learning, and observing let’s regroup to share what we have experienced and learned about AI in education.
The 2024 #8weeksofsummer blog challenge runs June 10 – July 29, 2024, and is for any educator. The challenge prompts educators with an opportunity for deep, written reflection. Each prompt asks them to blog about their reaction, thoughts, or experiences with some facet of their professional practice.
