Ahh, to over-deliver. Allow me to marinate in this feeling, it doesn’t come around too often.
I shouldn’t act like I am not helpful typically, but it is not the helpful which is visible. I wonder sometimes if all people see is me defining the places where I cannot be helpful, but I am working daily to help teachers, just in a covert manner I guess, from the Instructional Technology LMS Integration bunker.
But today – TODAY I visited a teacher who was interested in our LMS product for assessments, and I brought two other products to the meeting hoping they might better meet his needs for assessment.

Today I helped someone from way outside my area of responsibility and it was almost luxurious. I spent an hour helping someone else walked down a road I had stumbled down years earlier and I was still fresh enough from vacation to know I did not need to help this person, but that I wanted to… fresh enough off vacation to not feel the impossible weight of my schedule – such a Tuesday thing anyway to do, but know that I could save this person weeks/months of frustration. Glad to help!
