I do not typically seek change. Since 2009, every year has been unique. In the summer of 2022, I did seek change and wanted a new way to grow, I wanted Professional Upskilling. So, I intentionally applied to a job that would offer the chance for LMS implementation. This district did not have a learning management system in 2022 and had only used productivity suites to share schoolwork with learners.

My Experience

This past month, I was invited to give a lecture at a local university about my experience of implementing an LMS from RFP to Implementation. Here are the slides I provided and an overview of what I talked about live with the class of practicing education professionals.

While the implementation of an LMS is big, start with the next process or product and volunteer to help with any of these phases of implementation. RFPs and FOIA requests are thankless jobs and those tasked with them may welcome another set of hands.
